to “get away from it all”. The view from the large terrace (that
you won’t want to leave) and the feeling of total freedom are dizzying.
However if you can drag yourself away, the pool just below is close by,
or else take the car and in 5 minutes you can be on the wonderful beach
with small summer restaurants at your service. Still you are near to Théole/Mandelieu,
with a complete range of shops, restaurants and more. A little further way
is Cannes, offering everything promised by a luxury Riviera town. Wonderful
accommodation at any time of the year, with soothing comfort and a fine
range of activities (bathing, golf, hiking in the Esterel mountains). |

Suitable for: 2 families.
Sleeping capacity: 8 beds.
Rooms: The house is on two floors with a TV room (that
can double as a bedroom) and 3 bedrooms sharing a large bathroom. The upper
floor has an open-plan lounge and dining room and a kitchen area, looking
out on to a large, long terrace with dining furniture and a beautiful set
of wicker furniture. There is an enormous view from the terrace across the
pool and the whole coast. Here is also an master bedroom with its own bathroom.
The house has in total 4 toilettes.
House size: About 160 square metres.
Standard/style: Provençal/Swedish, style offering
modern, high comfort.
View: Fantastic panoramic views across the whole coast
from Antibes and Cannes to St Tropez.
Garden/pool: Terraced garden with terraces by the upper
and lower floors. The pool area is a little lower than the house, with facilities
for sitting and lying.
Facilities: Well-equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher,
refrigerator and freezer. Washing machine, satellite TV and stereo.
About the area.
Location: Beautiful, steep coastline
with high class villas and a wonderful small village, Le Trayas, with its
own railway station, making rail access easy to Cannes, Antibes, Nice and
Italy in one direction and Frejus/St Rafael in the other. Quiet and peaceful.
Entertainment/shopping: Basic shopping in Le Trayas. 10-15
minutes from the popular coastal villages of La Napoule and Théole,
which offer more varied shopping, many restaurants, a harbour and excellent
bathing. Boats to the popular excursion islands, Iles de Lerins, where there
is bathing, a monastery to visit, good food, etc. leave from La Napoule.
Cannes is about 20 minutes away by car.
Bathing: Down the hill, about 5 minutes away by car.
Golf: The nearest courses are the Riviera and the Old Golf
Course in Mandelieu.
Airport: 40 minutes from Nice Côte d’Azur airport.
